Having command of a library of information is useless unless we also have command of the structure and communicability of that information. As attention spans shorten and publishing increasingly moves to a digital format being able to generate clear, concise statements is becoming essential. Why write pages when a sound bite will do?
Experience in writing blogs, press releases, scientific papers, research memorandum, and magazine articles betrays the flexibility of an author’s style. The modern business place, with its emphasis on sticky ideas, ideas people remember, demands this flexibility. Sterile rigidity was left behind when the world became interconnected.

Right to be Forgotten - The EU is pushing towards an online 'right to be forgotten.' In the most innocuous of cases, this 'right' would force the censorship of search results to exclude information that, according to the EU, should be 'forgotten.' This paper will look at U.S. case law, legislation, and policy proposals to explore how much ground the 'right to be forgotten' has gained in the U.S. Some analysis of the practicalities of enforcement may be included. The Untapped Potential of Social Media: A Primer for Savvy Campaigners - The 2010 election cycle, like the 2008 cycle, saw explosive growth in campaigns use of social media platforms but many campaigns did not utilize those platforms to their full extent. This article highlights some of the most prevalent deficiencies, including how campaigns think of social media, and points to the solutions generated by the business community as models for growth during the 2012 cycle.
